Comprehensive Health Services, Inc. currently has an opening for a Proposal Manager in the Cape Canaveral office.

The Proposal Manager is responsible for establishing and managing all phases of the proposal process in response to commercial and U.S. government requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for information (RFIs). The Proposal Manager’s focus is to develop compliant, comprehensive and compelling submittals. This position is responsible for proposal content, adherence requirements and format, and managing the proposal team's activities. The Proposal Manager implements and adheres to developed proposal processes, implements and maintains the network and web-based proposal library, and is responsible for configuration control of all proposal documentation. The Proposal Manager reviews proposals for compliance with the RFP, and is responsible for all final production activities, including coordinating, desktop publishing, editing, proofreading, printing, and binding. The Proposal Manager should have the capability to assess the quality of content as well as form. The Proposal Manager provides research assistance and writes portions of the proposal, as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree and 10 years of related experience; including management experience and 5 years of proposal writing/management experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of contract types, Federal Acquisition Regulation, cost and pricing analysis
  • Highly developed word processing skills, especially with Microsoft Office products and working knowledge of graphics software

Technical Writer & Project Specialist: (Position will be based in West Palm Beach, FL)

FPL Energy Services, Inc. is currently sourcing for a Technical Writer/Project Specialist.  This position is responsible for the comprehensive project management of multi-million dollar public sector technical document submittals such as Request For Proposal (RFP)/ Request For Quotation (RFQ) / Request For Information (RFI).

Responsibilities include writing, coordinating and managing the delivery of completed responses to proposals including strong recommendations on content, content changes, and the overall style and imagery of the document. Final document submittal is a major element in the win or loss of multi million dollar projects. Responsible for writing original copy, making decisions on appropriate content available from previous submittals all the while assuring that each of the customer's questions have been fully answered. Acts as final reviewer for all style elements. Responsible for leading document development including driving key team member inputs to ensure on-time delivery of final product. Includes creating, distributing and managing responsibilities matrix, which outlines key document sections, responsible team member(s), and due dates. Also establishes and manages production schedules, managing project to schedule, as outlined in responsibilities matrix and providing resolution to issues related content within document and overall layout/formatting applying best judgment to drive team resolution to resolve any and all content related issues. After submittal, position is responsible for maintaining and updating a master repository for future responses. Position will also data mine a multitude of sites and identify RFP/RFQ's that meet the business objectives and making the first decision on go/no go and also identifying and forwarding to the appropriate salesperson/business segment. Bachelor's degree in business, liberal arts, or related field required. Strong technical writing background and experience with MS Word, Excel, & Power Point also required.
